The combination of Waterloo’s Faculty of Mathematics and the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid
Laurier lets you harness the strengths of 2 top-tier institutions into one program.
The University of Waterloo (UW) and Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) are proud to offer the BBA/BMath Double Degree program where students earn both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) degree. This is a unique opportunity to learn about business and the applications of mathematics to business while simultaneously earning two degrees from two outstanding universities!
In your upper years, you can choose to specialize in both the mathematics and business sides
of the program. We encourage you to select complementary pairs from the following:

If you think earning 2 degrees Simultaneously is all work and no play, think again. Because of the small number of students and similar scheduling of classes, you’ll become a member of a closely bonded group of exceptional students who develop a balance between academic and social life.
The Double Degree Club is a student-run organization that spans both UW and WLU campuses. For more information, visit www.ddclub.uwaterloo.ca
The first Double Degree class graduated in 2006. Many graduates have gone on to exciting jobs as traders, consultants, pension plan investors, marketers, entrepreneurs and so on. In 2007, at least 5 graduating Double Degree students accepted full time positions in the New York financial industry. Many Double Degree graduates have decided to pursue advanced degrees in Mathematical Finance, Management Science, Operations Research and Economics at top schools such as Stanford, Duke and the London School of Economics.
Here are a few jobs from the class of 2008!
Business students in the Faculty of Mathematics are encouraged to participate
